Parfums de Marly Layton

I have compared this side by side (real time) with Layton and I can’t smell any difference at all!

This was a blind buy for me based on all the positive reviews I have read about Layton. The notes looked good, and very important to me, they didn’t include amber. (It seems like today amber doesn’t mean labdanum, benzoin and vanilla, instead, it means amberwood which I really don’t like.) I was disappointed a bit when I got it, because I could smell what I think is amberwood. It is toned down to a level that I can wear without the need to wash it off. Then I ordered a 10ml decant of Layton for comparison. Side by side they were indistinguishable to me. If you like Layton, you will be very satisfied with this.

Wow Zoha, thanks for another amazing clone. I bought your Layton about a year and a half ago and found it amazing back, but slightly sweeter than Layton in the drydown. GUYS! The oil they're producing lately smells 96% close to the real Layton, with the spicy opening, complexity and the sweetness toned down. The performance is great and it is just heaven to wear! Just buy it an save a ton of money (btw their Kalan oil is also spot on! :))

Smells wonderful and has great projection!

This is amazing, Very similar to original Layton. Projection is good. Could be made a signature scent.

I just received my order and this stuff is remarkable. I was blown away by the projection and longevity. People at work were walking into my office and telling me the whole entire 2nd floor of our building smelled amazing and they followed the sillage straight to me. This stuff is remarkable!!!
