If you are a 'muskophille' (like me) and you like exotic things, you've probably tried to get your hands on Egyptian Musk. There are lots of different versions out there, from popular (commercial) offerings to head shop ones. While the scent can get pretty close to the real deal, most of the commercial releases are watered down, have poor longevity and don't have the most important EM texture: the unique honey-like sweetness which for me, is the most important accord and gives EM it's distinct quality. Head shop EM oils can be a tad stronger, however they either end up smelling animalic or have a very screeching "rubber" note which ruins the whole experience. Believe me, I've tried them all. Enter Zoha's EM. This is the EM I've been waiting for! It is VERY thick, has incredible depth and most importantly, it has that honey-like texture for which EM is celebrated for. It will last you throughout the whole day, however, it truly shines when the weather is warm so it gets heated up by your own skin. Don't expect a cologne-like experience because EM does not project, but rather it sits on your skin and form this simmering aura that is very soothing and meditative. I got the smallest bottle thinking that it will last me a long time, however judging by the rate I'm using it, I'm gonna give the brothers a call soon to get a large vial lol. Works really well when layering it with one of my favorite scents, Narciso Rodriguez for Him EDT, whose base note is a huge dose of Egyptian Musk also.
